Hello group, my name is Gene and I'm also addicted to boating.

(everybody: Hi, Gene.)

I had to give up boating for two years due to circumstances beyond my control - first a major theft and then a major illness. I'm just getting back in. Sold my previous boat, a faithful 32" Bayliner sedan. But I just couldn't stay away.

Just purchased a 98 370 Sundancer in FL and I'm looking to truck it up to CT in the spring. I see that Sea Ray owners are a pretty tight bunch, so I'm looking forward to a good year.

Hi Gene,

Welcome.

Where are you going to keep the boat? I am in Stratford. I once owned a 1998 37DA, great boat.

Hi Gene, Welcome to the board, there is a great group here with a lot of info to share.

You will figure it out real soon after visiting some other sites, it's all about self preservation. You'll get snubbed by BOC, Slapped by Boat US, Ignored by Boater Ed, and never get a word in edge wise on Trailer Boater boards. Oh and never mind the Formula or Hatteras boater boards they give us poor Sea Ray owners grief too. It's a vicious cyberworld out there, us little ugly duckling Sea Ray owners have to stick together. :smt043

I'm looking to keep it in Westbrook, closer to the waters I'm used to for the past 15 years or so. Sea Ray dealer is local there too.

Welcome Aboard  . Post some pic of your boat in the virtual marina :smt024 .

Will do. I have some preliminary ones from the marina in FL. Waiting for a truck to CT.
