Hey folks - I am brand new member from Grosse Pointe, Michigan and getting ready to move to the west coast :grin:. My joints just won't handle the cold spell and I need a warmer climate for a change - and enjoy life while we can.

There are parts of the West coast that are colder than Michigan! What part are you hoping to relocate too?

Will be in LA area close to Marina del Ray and yes I am taking my 240 Dancer with me. I should be docking middle of next month (October). Glad to be a member. I was actually looking for a boat mover when I ran across this club. I got hooked with this one company M&M at uship.com - it's kind of a bidding website. I sure hope that it is good and reliable outfit.
Spokane is how far from Seattle?

Why don't you trailer the boat out yourself? You can pull it with a u-haul truck ... Otherwise, I would search google. I moved a car from Tx to NJ for $600. Should only cost you around $1000 to move the 240.
