Heads up on a Bogus Marine Supplier. Wholesale Marine Equipment

Wholesale Marine Equipment. As found on the net, offers very attractive prices on Marine Equipment. They will want to ship via air Courier, Indra Pratama Express, at a fair price.

I have ordered on line, several item that arrived as promised in the past from other overseas vendors. The company question is located in Indonesia.

I ordered and paid with a Visa card and they shipped. Using the supplied tracker, I followed the package all over the world. It stopped in Ireland where the shipper billed me a 25% US Customs Duty demand and request it be paid via Western Union.

I asked or a copy of the US Customs declaration and they replied I would it when the package was delivered.

Foul.....I called my credit card company and discovered my card had not been charged, so I cancelled the card and watched the demands for payment continue. Lesson learned.

BTW, Local US Customs office was contacted and they acknowledged this scam was ongoing.

I agree.....I order from them too, Located in the US. I believe the US company is called Wholesale Marine......No Equipment after the name.......done intentionally I would think.

Yeah ive ordered from Wholesale Marine many times, Always great prices and never any trouble. This other place sounds like a knock-off scammer

I agree. Bought many things form them over the years. I hope this doesn't hurt their business.

Called 'em up and they do in fact have a new website. I was able to reuse my ld password and my rewards points rolled over as well. Great company to do business with!

I feel bad for wholesalemarine, having a scammer adopt a name so close to there's ... In a word it sucks.
