Cruz'n, when is that supposed to be an event? Planning a cruise of middle Chesapeake all next week

This is for Thursday this week.
Check our weather.gov for the latest alerts and updates.

Weather should be nice by the weekend.

Supposed to be a really nice weekend after this stuff blows through, We are going to try to get to St. Micheals for the antique boat show this Sat.

This is coming our way!!!

NOAA Forecast is calling for 14ft rise on our river. Pulling boats tonight before it hits Thursday/Friday. No boating this weekend.....muddy & high water, Mike.

What NOAA forecast are you looking at that says 14' rise in tide? I found one for our area during hurricane sandy that showed normal and forecasted tide height, as well as the observed heights, but I havent been able to find the site since. Actually is this it, if so, I dont see the 14' prediction?

On the Potomac we're not seeing anything that would suggest a crazy high tide.

This will also not likely be a derecho in the DC area. There will be strong storms and winds and heavy rains. Most of the problems look like Thursday in the DC metro.

Hi Tony, sorry i missed ur post ....sent PM

Hope everyone comes out of this WX ok. A couple of tornados have been confirmed on the ground. West of Annapolis and another off of Drum Pt !

Well, I learned something. Don't be the town crier. 100 yr old oak came right thru the house. Busted out big sliding glass doors, massive trees topped out, power lines down, trees across the road, transformer suspended in the air. Good news, moving the dinghy, jet ski, big John Deere and cars, right where two massive trees fell and the SR was on the hard for maintenance !! NWS is coming by to verify a tornado touch down.... Go figure.... Fire wood anyone ??
