Head Unit Installstion

I am finally going to upgrade my original stereo on the BR and I need some help with an instatallation kit. Currently BR has the head unit in the glovebox and its an older style with simply the faceplate holding the unit in place on the fiberglass and the body of the stereo 'hanging' with no support. The new unit is a flush mount CD player and I need a kit that I can mount on the fiberglass and slide the stereo into. I've looked online and nothing really fits the bill .....

Anyone done this and what did you use ?

Normally one would remove a stereo like you are trying to install and replace it with one that screws in from the front. I have not see a kit do do it the other way around. Do you have a standard DIN sized hole? Can you not simply mount the unit into that hole using the included mounting cage?

Post a pic of your current setup and the hole as well if the old unit is already out. What brand/model is the new head-unit?
