Hate boating on Holidays.

Took the boat out for a ride Saturday and it wasn’t too bad. Meant to go anchor out yesterday to view an air show but was feeling under the weather. Sorry I missed it but heard it was a zoo.

Got out today after some horrible weather Saturday and Sunday.

It was the most perfect day you could ask for and there were far fewer boats out than expected.

So we stopped by the Levee today to run up into town to get some salad for the admirals. Wouldn’t you know it assholes and I mean addholes just threw their bags of trash on the other side of the dock and left it there. We know who it is because it is the same uncaring assholes who had their thumping music blasting all evening long so the rest of the folks on the dock could enjoy it (not really).

I would hold on to those bags of trash and then “return” them to their boat when they’re not around. You know ..as a courtesy.

No issues this weekend. We showed up at Jewfish Key on Saturday at 10:30, and anchored there until Monday at noon, then headed back to st Pete.
The area is a no wake zone, but some would go slow and make a good size wake for their speed, heavily patrolled by the coast guard, and sheriff’s office. Fortunately, did not affect us too much since I was rafted up to a 44’ Aquila and the wake was absorbed. Quite a few loud stereos, but they were all gone after 6:00 or so each night.
