Not finding any good matches in general Internet searches so hoping a boater/pilot/lawn enthusiast has a favorite gadget to suggest. First Mate treated himself to a Hustler Raptor earlier this spring and so far his biggest complaint is the beverage holder.

I'm looking for something gyroscopic or with similar motion dynamics to handle bumps and hills, that could attach with a heavy duty suction cup or with minimal drilling/hardware, and that accommodates a can or bottle in a thick foam koozie or provides insulation in lieu of such. This is a "little" birthday gift since he picked his big one himself (not the Raptor--I love him, but I put THAT kind of money into the boat), so ideal pricing would be less than $50.

TIA!

I have some of those and they work great.

I've got a Ram Mount cup holder that I picked up on Amazon.com. It's going to run you a little more than the holder linked above. I think it's $25 plus you'll need a $5 ball mount. It swivels nicely and matches the other Ram Mount gear I have.

Gave up on trying to mow and drink beer at the same time. Not familiar with that model but the only suspension on my ride is the air in the tires. Shake rattle and roll

what about one of these?.........

That's my personal favorite, but for some reason he prefers his beverages ice cold! If his German DNA wasn't so diluted, I'd just get him a Camelbak and he could drink warm brews!

I think I saw this on a piloting forum--does it stay put/are you happy with it?

It does a great job. It's not going to do anything in 5' chop but under normal conditions it's great. Quite robust as well (as are all things Ram Mount in my experience)...
