We went up Thursday evening and just got back. The lake is about four feet down from full pond, but we still can boat pretty much anyhwere.
We have six feet of water in the back of our slip left even though getting on the landing is a big step, needed to use the gunwhale for boarding.
Hau'Oli is running great and is clean and shiny. The genny sure got a work out this week end ...
At one of our favorite coves at Smith Mountain
Our "first born" Maggie and my wife enjoying 85F water ... our little boy is sleeping down below ...
it was 102 whem I took these pictures on Friday ... but a nice 70F in the cabin to give our 7 month old some reprieve
I wash the hull sides every day just floating around her on a couple float "noodles" ... nice 'n shiny
Here you can see how low the water is ... at full pond usually the swim platform is level with the small landing ...
I measured ... we still have six feet of water at the stern of the boats ... nice to have a deep lake with very steep banks.
We boarded conveniently via the gunwhales ... not often that that happens ...

Here's our 7 month old ...
