We went up Thursday evening and just got back. The lake is about four feet down from full pond, but we still can boat pretty much anyhwere.
We have six feet of water in the back of our slip left even though getting on the landing is a big step, needed to use the gunwhale for boarding.
Hau'Oli is running great and is clean and shiny. The genny sure got a work out this week end ...

I wash the hull sides every day just floating around her on a couple float "noodles" ... nice 'n shiny

Here you can see how low the water is ... at full pond usually the swim platform is level with the small landing ...
I measured ... we still have six feet of water at the stern of the boats ... nice to have a deep lake with very steep banks.
We boarded conveniently via the gunwhales ... not often that that happens ...

I love it when everyone shares their pics. Nice Stuff Alex, Great pictures!Get that PFD on that boy so that's all he knows when he's on board. Our twins had them on not matter what, except when they were sleeping up forward. The rest of the time they were on so that's all they knew when they were on the boat. Now it's automatic and they've never fussed over them

Is that one of the coves near the dam, perhaps in Witcher Creek? Several years ago, we took a trip to SML, when I had a boat that could be trailered, and we enjoyed hanging out in this area. This is a very beautiful mountain lake - as you well know.

It's a cove just a bit East of Louse Creek down by the mountain ... doesn't have a name though

Alex...great pics. How did you take the one near the water? I am afraid to get in the water with my camera...

I chanced it and took our Canon Digital Elph 600 in the water. I was floating sitting on two foam "noodles" which is actually very stable and my favorite way to "hang" in the water since you are about 80% submerged. Was floating around the boat while taking the shots with the other hand ...

Awesome pics? How olds your JRT? Mine's 2 and a half...haven't taken her out on my 185 though. If I had a dancer though she'd be out all the time.

My buddies little girl, first time on a boat, near water, beach and wearing a PFD, she did AWESOME! She was really upset when we had to pack it in for the day.

My son, LOVES the water, not until a few weeks ago. He wouldn't let go or go deeper than his knees. Now you can't keep him out.

Here is my son again, I'm pulling him with the the inflatable that is in the first pic.
