OK who has their launch date set with the marina? Two boats in their slips at North Shore Marina on Wed this week. Mine and another friend's will be added to that number on Friday Mar 30. 7 days sure sounds a lot better than 7 months!!! Weather don't fail me now!!

I'll be joining you on April 6th... I'm with you on the weather...

A few boats in the water around me too..

We are tentatively looking at April 6th as well. Hope the weather cooperates.

Really wish we could launch sooner but have t0o many damn commitments. For the record, it's not me making the commitments!

My marina has me scheduled for March 30!! :)

Tentatively looking at April 3, but I know as soon as it hits the water, the temperature will drop 50 degrees, the wind will rise by 50 knots and the waves will climb 50 feet.....

Again I say weather don't fail me now! I hear you Scott! March 30 will be our earliest launch date yet (beats old record of Mar 31)...

A few years ago I launched on march 21st 2008. Good Friday. Every year I shoot for good Friday. The funny part was it snowed that night like all get out. I sat in the captains chair in a T-shirt toasty warm and would do it again in a heart beat!

Set to splash on April 14th so long as the marina is open. The boat will be ready after this weekend. :smt038

April 4th, I would be in sooner but I am in a Captains training class this weekend and coming week. Really put a damper on my launch schedule but I will have a 100 Masters now!

april 20th for me, i would push it up but i have to wait for my new platform which is shipping hopefully the 2nd week of april, plus im in the middle of the building so i am stuck until theyre in........
boat is ready now though.....oh well at least im not rushing around last minute like i usually do, although im sure ill find another project to put me in a bind, wouldnt have it any other way....

Skillz, is your boat at Belle Maer? I think we are in the same building. Blaz installing your platform by chance?

I am shooting to launch on April 13...

The Heatwave went in last Saturday in St. Joe. Ran her to Saugatuck. It was the only boat in at Seargents. Spent the night on her and fished on Sunday!

So we did get in the water last Friday, but I have to say the weather failed me. About 35 degrees when I picked up the boat from storage to take to slip. Genny was pretty cold blooded....fired up but stalled, crank, crank, fire, sputter. You get the idea. Finally caught and the reverse cycle heat was the first load to add! A nice heated cockpit 1/2 hour trip downstream to the marina. Oh well, we celebrated launch with two other couples already at the marina (8 boats in) and I say happy boating 2012 to all!

With the Lake permitting
April 14th we will bring her from storage in Muskegon
to her slip in Grand Haven
