I am so amazed how quickly we came out of the drought. I have heard nothing but positive things about lake levels so far this summer. How are your local lakes doing?

so far so good but I've usually got a beach in front of the seawall by mid august.

horrible
40ft low and dropping fast every day

in fact we just pulled out a sinking 420 dancer that grounded yesterday
got him out at 11:00 pm on a sunday night

Way good here. They are letting water out of the dam which is always a good sign of
Summer Pool conditions.

Its wierd how Powell is doing so well and Mead can be down. Powell is up already 2ft over the high from last year. Hasn't been this high since 2002.

Sorry to hear about you guys in Texas. The South East looks pretty good. Wasn't it Lake Lanier that was 18ft down last summer and near full pool now?

Powell is up because they are holding the water back from Mead (of course it doesn't help that we are releasing twice what we are getting to CA & AZ)

Last month, average daily outflow from Powell was ~10,000 cfs, outflow from Mead was ~20,000cfs. They have cut this way back (only down another 1' in the last 2 weeks) but were are still dropping.

Oh yeah, Lanier was down as much as 25' and Hartwell was just as bad. Now Lanier is like 4' down and Hartwell about the same I think. It is nice to finally see some docks floating on those lakes!!:smt038
