It is funny that I just was reading the post about peoples' habits running their bilge blower. I'm in the category of pretty much always running it. Well yesterday we took about a 50 mile trip to Ha Ha Tonka and I had the thought of the bilge blower going out while cruising. Sure enough, when we docked the boat, I noticed the blower switch on, but no blower.

So I removed the blower and now I need to buy a new one. I looked online and the one that was in the boat was a Rule model 240. From what I've seen online, they are in the 30-40 dollar range. Anyone know of a good place to get one, or is that the best price out there?

id say west marine or ebay.

Thanks guys. Any suggestions for a better one than what was originally installed? I'm most concerned with how long it will last. Also, is there a minimum CFM rating that I will need?

Not sure what model to suggest but for pricing Boater's World beats West Marine every time I check. If there's one near you, it's worth a look.
