Going out for dinner - the boat method!

The funny part about if we take the boat to that restaurant is, I'll have to tow the boat 25 miles to get to the launch... but still worth it!

It was Osaka in Ortley Beach... But it is closed now... My wife said it was the best docking job I ever did... We have also gone down to Forked River, and dock at the state marina and walked across route 9 to the Chinese buffet...
 
That Chineses buffet in Forked River on route 9 accross from the state marina is also closed...been closed for a few years now.

I guess that show how often we get out to restaurants by boat :smt001 After I get my latest boat repair bill, it we wil do more anchoring and cooking meals on the boat...
 
We do the same things all the time. Go to as many places as possible by boat, even if it would be easier to get there by car. Every friday night a group of us from the dock go to dinner at the restaurant that is right at our marina. We don't walk, we all pile into the zodiak and "cruise" over.:lol:
Everything is better when you get there by boat:thumbsup:
 
I love it! My wife and I understand. We do the same thing
It's all about the time together. eeh! and some time with
the wife!:lol:

Ok opposite end of the picture here. Several years ago my wife wanted to surprise me by taking me to dinner for my birthday. The restaurant she chose was Carson’s Creek right here in Middle River. Well we had a great dinner and good drinks but I was in a negative mood the entire dinner. After dinner, she asked “why was I not in a good mode”? Hun, I replied don’t EVER take me to a restaurant on the water without my boat! She has since learned.
