Give and take relationship...

Being a member of CSR for a little while now I am a little disturbed by what appears to be a new trend here. I see more and more new “members” joining up with an agenda. New members joining in with a product to market and that is all we hear. Now I have always looked at CSR as a give and take relationship. I have received some fantastic advice and have learned so much from many of the givers of advice here. I have also added some advice and tips of my own when I knew full well of what I was talking about. Maybe I’m wrong here, hell it’s not my site anyway, but it would seem that there are some looking for free advertising…. Maybe that advertising is indeed advice for some members.

Just some rambling thoughts from a snowed in member.

Agreed...I see both good and bad. It's a little aggravating when you see a post if that's a bit transparent. The poster tries to offer a "public service", and then throws out the sales pitch and his contact info. I would just prefer to see the professional sales pitch right off the bat with no attempt to "buddy up".

We need advertisers on this site, and I have bought from a couple of them. Just don't treat the rest of us with any less respect than you would if we were face to face.

Yep as quick as we can:thumbsup:. Heck I think Jim or Richard and I were deleting the same post the other day. I started to delete them then got an error message no post to delete and user already banned :lol::smt043:lol:

I don't see this as a problem. We appreciate the efforts that it takes to manage and moderate this site. It's obvious that the success of this site is due to its quality. I've learned a bunch and share when I can.
