Has anyone had trouble with the platform not holding tight (up to the back of the boat) on one or both corners when in the full UP position? This will only allow the platform to shimmy or move let's say a half inch or so but it is noticeable. The other side is solid and really doesn't move.

Any experience with this issue?

I haven’t had any problem like that. Sounds to me like the locking cam is not latching properly on the loose side. First thing I’d check if I were having these symptoms.

You may have a seal in the cylinder on that side bypassing?

GHS helped me trouble shoot the issue back to a worn pin and/or bushings.

Plan to replace both sides tomorrow.

Please take some pics of the job. I’m curious about mine as well.

What issue does your platform lift have? I will take pictures of the process. Ours is slightly lose on the starboard side when it is at the top position.

When out of the water I’ve noticed my locking cams are not actually touching the bar that locks them. While underway I see some movement but not 100% if it’s the platform.never checked for play out of the water so just curious.

I have a video of the before condition. I can email it if you anyone wants it.

I replaced the pins and bushings which removed the rocking on the port side. Mine was related to a worn bushing. Nothing to do with the lock or latch.

The gap you see in a couple of the pictures of the brass bushings was tightened up.

Thanks for the follow up. I order the locking cylinders as it seemed they were not fully retracting. Hope that fixes my issue.

I have a video of the before condition if you want to see it. Just send me your email address. Not sure how to post a video.
