Bravo III
so we are very excited to finally have the boat in the water.
We are on a steady learning curve, and figuring out the characteristics of the boat.
I'd be interested in some opinions about one thing though.
I'm presently on the hook enjoying the Boston view after a quick rip past Boston light..something weird happened though.
When I trimmed the drives up (about 1/4 on the analog gauge) the boat steadily lost speed and rpm's. I mean, we just slowed right down as if something was dragging us down.
2' seas, headwind, aprx 22-24mph, 3400 rpm.
I stopped and visual inspection showed them both where they should be.
I put them down all the way again.
Verified both engines/drives running correctly.
Got back up on plane no problem.
Tried it again and same thing...
When I first picked the boat up, I operated the drive trim and was totally normal.
What I'm thinking is maybe I was going too slow today?
When I did it the first time, and it worked fine, I was 38-43mph.
I don't think I should have to go so fast though.
Any ideas?
