has anyone ever installed a generator in a 240 sundancer?

I had an inverter on my 260. It ran the a/c quite well.
I know in my 2010 240 Sundancer there is no more room in the engine compartment for a generator. We already have a hot water heater and holding tank taking up most of the free space.
We only the the AC/Heat when on shore power.
It is possible that a 3K would fit where the VacuFlush pump and its small preliminary tank is. On my 270, it occupied the starboard front corner. I then would assume a sea water manual/electric toilet would be required.Popogators post 2 above yours I believe explained this.
Quote: "In order to fit in the 240, the generator replaced the vaccuflush option. After 3 years, I am loving the generator. Because of the intense heat we get in Miami year round, it has been used many times. Plus it helps me run the stereo system and keep the batteries charged."
I assume that the holding tank is no longer there in his boat.
