I took my boat in to be winterized and asked the dealer to take care of a few warrenty issues. They kept the boat about 3 weeks to fix all of the gel coat cracks. They had to remove the windshield and part of the rub rail to fix all of the gel cracks. Gel coat cracks happen and they are not structual but they can make a boat look bad. It is amazing how much better the boat looks with no spider cracks all over the boat. It also was amazing how well they matched and blended them in.

Have a great day

The dealer did cover all the cracks under warrenty. The boat is a 2004 which was purchased new March of 2006. If I remember I need to count the number of spider cracks on the bill. I bet he fixed 20 of them as he has 3 or 4 pages of problem areas listed.

I should have another year left on the warrenty. The dealer also had the covers repaired under warrenty as some snaps were coming out. The velcro was dry rotted from being stored for two years and was replaced. Those were the two big issues along with a couple of minor irriations. This dealer truly deserves his Ambassador rating.

Great to hear Paul!!! This is why it is as important to do your research on your dealer as your manufacturer.

Good to hear that. I recently had a crack that started under the port bow lounger seat. SR did not cover it under warranty. It did not cost to much so I won't carry on to much about it. :smt089

Sorry your crack was not covered Rich. Your boat might just have been out of warrenty as it is an 04 which I think you have enjoyed for a couple of years. You at least have a good attitude about the cost of the fix. Stuff happens if you boat. The choice is will it ruin your day or not.

My 2004 is only nine months into the warranty since it was not purchased until March 2006 so I have a way to go yet.

Have a great day
