Does anyone have a picture of their galley sink drain on a 07 340? Mine came apart and it turns out it was simply siliconed in place.

I have a 2000 340 and found the previous owner had done the exact same thing to our galley sink drain. Replaced it with one from amazon for $10. Works like a champ. Screenshot_2019-05-03-18-24-51.png

I'm pretty sure they were made like that from the factory, as mine was like that also.

Can't quite tell from your pic, but it looks that nut in your hand needs to go on the white plastic elbow before the hose is put on the discharge side. Should also be a gasket between the elbow and the sink drain.

The nut is my hand won't fit over the white part. Thats why I am confused. Even the new part that came from Sea Ray is the same.

Junk the metal piece and get all plastic. Get some good quality Teflon thread sealant and you should be good to go...

The bottom image is how the piece arrived in the package. A nice glass of JW Blue and I figured out the white part was actually 2 pieces that screwed into one another and the black piece protruding from the metal drain through the locking nut is for a straight tube with no bend.
The previous boat owner had broken the interior white piece and simply glued it back together.

If you can’t admit your mistake what are you.

JP, we have an '06 38. I need to replace the bathroom sink drain and would like to replace the kitchen also. The metal is corroded and looks like crap. This was a saltwater boat for 7 years so I am sure much of the corrosion was from that period of it's life. What part did you order from Sea Ray? The one that broke in the bathroom looks similar to the white one in your photos but the elbow is black. The assembly is much that same as the metal pieces you show but the straight black piece is an elbow. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Look on Amazon for Ambassador sink drain.
The galley should be 2", and the head should be 1 1/2".

Not sure I can help since you’re a Vol;)

I couldn’t find the exact pieces at either BOW or West Marine so I went to my local Marine Max and picked and ordered them. Everything fit perfectly. If you look in the parts manual you will see the diagram of the parts. Gotta put my daughter to bed then Ill dig up the part image for you.

Here is a copy of my receipt for pricing comparison. I had to replace the cockpit sink and the galley sink. My My head sink its just fine. I’m guessing I could have found it online somewhere but this was an easy one stop shop.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Gator.....we need to get our boat pic added.....Checkerboards and all!

Thanks Wyrman! I looked and like the Ambassadors but they are all out of stock and I need now. I think I am going to cobble something together to get the head back in working order then plot and plan on updrading all three. We are using a McCallan cork in our cockpit sink since it is a straight through drain with no strainer.
