My galley sink drain had been slow. So I disconnected the drain hose from the elbow to clean it out. And of course cracked the elbow that connects the drain and hose. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I have searched several RV sites and Home Depot, but cannot fine a replacement. Here is a pic. The white stuff is epoxy I tried to use for repair.

That looks like a regular home drain fitting. Did you take it apart and bring with you? I know I changed mine years ago and it was a house fitting.

Looks like a standard 1 1/4" bar sink drain. The elbow may be a challenge to find as household sink drains drop into a trap and you need the flanged elbow end to fasten up to the drain throat. Why couldn't a straight drop be used and shorted up so it doesn't create a low spot in the discharge line?

Did you replace your drains as well? I may end up having to to that.

Yes, the drain and fitting were combined on the replacement part.

Ziekman: KC, what are the steps to do the replacement? All 3 of mine are pitted.

Ours were pitted badly too and we had a section of hose that would puddle on the galley sink.
I actually used a larger fitting and hose on the galley sink so it would drain much better.
Pretty simple job: On ours there is a nut on the bottom side just like a home sink. Remove it, carefully remove the drain which is usually sealed in with caulk or butyl tape. Clean up the area and install the new fitting. I chose to use butyl tape for sealing.

Had the same problem.
Could not find the same or similar piece.

Basically, I took the drain to Home Depot, and put some PVC pieces together until it tapered down to fit the hose. It's like a puzzle essentially.
Worked out very well, and it turned out to be easy and cheap.

I also made it so the piece was straight, instead of the elbow shape.
I think this places less stress on the elbow, as the hose is quite heavy- and when the boat bounces, it puts some stress on that elbow joint.

Ok... maybe I over thought is some, but it works.

Can be a pain to get the new PVC into the hose- just put some dish soap on it to lube it up, and muscle it in.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the input. Called the dealer today. The didn't have one in stock, so got it on order.... $2.55...
