Hello All,
I'm helping a freind redo a stereo on his boat, and want to pass a techie question by y'all to see if I'm punting in the wrong direction.
He bought the fusion 600 series with ipod connection. It only has one set of line out connectoer to install an amp. The P/O had a JBL 4 channel amp and ran the line out inputs to the front in, then ran the amp out connectors to the rear-in RCA to facilitate a "4 channel" set up. He is running a set of 6 1/2" flush mounts midship, and has (4) box type speakers mounted and wired under the gunwhale.
Short of installing a speaker level to line level converter to use all four inputs (channels) on the amp, will looping out of the amp and back into it damage or cause any bad things to the amp or head unit?
I realize the output onthis amp is the sum of both the front and read outputs.
Using the Zones in this seyt up is not necessary, as all speakers are in listening range.
ThaNKS FOR ANY INPUT.
