While you are here. Any theories why only one light (Empty) is out all the time but the other three lights work fine? So I know it’s empty now when no lights are on, so not really a problem needing a fix.And yes you may.

Typically it’s a bad solder joint. I resolder all. Pretty quick job. While you are here. Any theories why only one light (Empty) is out all the time but the other three lights work fine? So I know it’s empty now when no lights are on, so not really a problem needing a fix.

Looks like the 1/2 tank transistor is shorted. When I do it that way (red to positive and one black to negative) as soon as I connect power 1/2 and empty are lite up and never go out. Then when I connect each wire to ground I get:
Other Black no change (1/2 and empty)
Blue 1/2 1/4 empty
Orange full 1/2 empty
Green 3/4 1/2 empty
Yellow no change
Send it. I change out all 4.Looks like the 1/2 tank transistor is shorted.
Ok sounds good! Thank you!Send it. I change out all 4.
