For you WW II aircraft buffs

Not many buffs' here I guess, but I enjoyed the link. You can tell by the air combat footage it is late in the war. Seasoned pilots would know better not to fly in a straight line for very long, so they were younger German pilots with not much experience. Although, at that point it was all Germany had left to put in the air. Liked the strafing of the Me-262 on the ground. Thanks for sharing !

I need to do less work. Please continue showing me great videos. I love vintage planes(all planes for that matter). Something about a radial or Rolls Royce V12 screaming overhead.

This was back when they actually navigated and didn't land at the wrong airports, LOL.

Thanks. Dad was a flight instructor in WW 11. He taught me to fly when I was tall enough to reach the petals. I still have a Bonanza.

Thanks Dad! Thanks to all the WW 11 men and women.

Tried the link, unfortunately it said "bad IP". Big WWII aircraft buff, and love aircraft enough I fly a CL605 for a living. Hope to see more in the future.

Hi BT Doctor. Great gun camera shots. My dad was CO of the 76th Fighter Squadron in WWII China. (P-51) I wrote Saint Louis and tried to get ahold of his gun camera footage. They answered and told me none are existing. Got any ideas about who and where to resubmit a request? Thanks, Griff4

Few realize how inept the P51 was until the D model brought the Packard V12 engine. One of the best designed planes of WWII. In my opinion the Thunderbolt was the safest plane to be in as it's forward armament was quite good.

Of course this is all hear say as I was not there.:smt001
