Just moved up to a 340 and have a 2 yr old Poly-Cover for winter storage available. Save yourself the annual shrink-wrap fees with this sturdy, custom fit cover by Fisher & Sons http://www.hffisherandsons.com/ See website for info and photos.

Paid $600, selling for $250 firm, plus shipping (if necessary), central NJ.

Good question. Although it was made for a 2000 270, it will fit models of different years with a similar style (bow pulpit and swim platform, no radar arch) and would also fit the SE version (8'6" beam vs the 9'2" beam).

I got a shrink wrap cover from the manufacture of my Jetboat with swim platfrom the boat is 23 feet long, 7 feet wide and has a cabin that is 6' 3" feet high. Have used it for 3 winters. It is plastic out and fabric material inside. Never shrunk it. Just an idea for those that shrink wrap each year. It came wit tie down points around the outside. No holes or rips so far. Cost was 250 I think.

Hey There:

Are you saying that you paid $600 for a "custom" fit cover? Did these guys come to your boat and take measurements? Or was that a universal fit type cover that fit your 270?

For $600 I'm thinking I'm calling them for next year.

I’m also wondering how many seasons I might be able to get out of a Poly-cover like that… any thoughts there?

Thanks
Mark

Mark, yes, custom fit. They came and measured, husband and wife team, very nice people. From talking to others with the same cover, 5-6 years is normal. I plan to replace the one I just sold with another for the new boat.

this is my dads old boat, we cover all of our boats like this he had the boat for 5 years then sold it that guy got another 5 years on it. The cover is used all year around. 10 years is not bad for a $1500 cover

.....ignore the shrubs, it was homecoming week.

Thanks Guye926 and Andy K for your insight; I’m sold. I’ll give them a call after the holidays and see what happens.

I’m hoping they are willing to come to Connecticut. I might have a friend of mind interested in a cover for his boat as well. They might make the trip for 2 sales… we’ll see.

THANKS again!!!!

Mark
