Fly Bridge vs Cave Boat, Portable Generators and Harbor Freight tools

I want Satellite TV on my boat, can i just use the from my house and mount it on the bow? Or would the Hard Top be better?
I have a spare from the last storm and its going to waste..

My engines looked cold, so I decided to hang a shop light in the engine room and leave it on 24/7....it came in particularly handy as it kept the bilge warm while I changed the fuel filters.....

Since i can't close the hatch with the extension cord in the way, I think I'll just mount an a/c receptacle down there on the forward bulkhead above the fuel tanks.
All joking aside I always eery wondered why they didn't put a 110 outlet down there. Your post answered that question! I guees I should pull the extension cord I permanently installed coming down From an outlet upstairs:smt013

Last time I was at the boat I noticed a leak back by the engine. I was going to Harbor Freight and get a submersible pump when I met a Sail Boat guy on the dock. He suggested I save money and just drill a hole in the hull in the front of the boat to let the water back out! What a nice guy...

is it really a bad idea to leave your drain plug in all winter ,also I winterized the boat this year with windshield washer fluid ,should be good

Installed my new anchor line today. Put 375 feet of line and 20 ft of chain but I couldn't fit the 5/8 line through the chain so I untrusted the line, cut 2 strands off braided the other through. I'm sure it'll hold
it will be fine it's the same as cutting the strands of wire off so it will fit in a smaller connector. It's cheaper to buy smaller wire connectors.

Hahaha ha I've done that before! Not on my boat but on my first car stereo. Still couldn't make the crimp so lots of duck tape held it on!

I winterized my water system with Vodka... One part Vodka to two parts water... It reduces the weight on the boat, as I only have to bring Tequila now...

I got my Sea Ray Living magazine today!
