First time owner in MO

Hello all! I am first time boat owner of a 2008 SR 185 Sport with the V6 190 HP engine. I picked this up from Marine Max and it only had 93 hours from the original owner. I am very happy with this boat and I hope to have many summers in the future on a Sea Ray. I know that i will pick up some valuable information here on this forum and any tips would be much appreciated!

Totally plus one! Boating is a fantastic family hobby. You first mate will get some experiences he will remember his whole life! It does, or should, require a learning curve, and a new skill set. Good maintenance and a little safety will go a long way toward your whole family enjoying your new Sea Ray. My Uncle taught me to drive a ski boat when I was 14. By the time I was 16, I could back the trailer down the ramp with the best of them. My Dad always had some sort of row boat, and bought me a Mini Fish (Sailing dinghy) when I was 12 years old. At 56, many of the memories I cherish, are times I spent on the water with my Dad and my Uncle. Hopefully you will have a great time with your SR185, and you are giving your son a priceless gift.
