hello,
I am purchasing an (unknown year?? help??) SRV170 Oxford for $500. The boat has a Mercury 150hp outboard, and is said to be in running condition (we'll see about that). All and all its in very good shape, besides the fact its been under some trees for a while. I have looked the boat over multiple times, and to the extent of my knowledge its in good shape. The transom is solid and reinforced, the floor has one or two soft spots, which isn't a big deal.
what it needs: Gas tank, batt. some O-ring/seal for the trim.( when the owner gets back into town he is going to show me) and a good cleaning and wax and buff.
whats your opinion on the boat and is it worth what i am paying?
