Hello, everyone from Austin, Texas!

I have been a long time "lurker" as some would say. I come over from SRO in October and have been reading posts here ever since. I am so glad that I found this place after SRO!!

I haven't posted anything here, and I am not sure if I ever even posted anything on SRO, mostly because I have felt that I really didn't have much to contribute.

I had a small boat (2002 182 BR) and I am not really an "expert" or anything like many of the fine people here, and I didn't really have many questions. The 182 was a great boat and I didn't have any problems at all.

Anyway, my wife and I are extremely excited because we are taking delivery of 2006 320DA on Feb.3rd!! Now I know I will be posting with lots of questions, because I know nothing about owning a cruiser! This has been a dream of ours for 5 years and it is finally coming true!

Thanks for all the good reads, and posts, this is sure a great place, and I am happy to be a Sea Ray owner!

Wow, what a move. Now we know everythings bigger in Texas.
Welcome to the board and good luck with your new boat.

Gman, congratulations on the new Boat! Make sure to get some pictures of it posted in your virtual marina

Congratulations :smt038 What a terrific move up in size.

Send all the questions you want, everyone will look forward to hearing from you. And don't think you don't have anything to contribute. Jump in no one is going to bite you.

GMAN!, welcome to the site. Big Blue is right! Your on an awesome lake. I hope to trailer up there sometime this year with the family, maybe pulling a new boat ... we'll see.

Welcome to Club Sea Ray!

All Lurker's should buy bigger boats!!

Still welcome Gman!

We are ready to help you.

Fourteenfootitis....Awesome!! :smt038
Congratulations,...You're going to love the new boat...

Welcome to the board, what a move, talk about 2 footitis.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I can't wait to take delivery of her.

Although I worry about such a big jump in size! When sitting at the helm of a 320 in the showroom, I kept thinking "there is so much boat in front on me....does it ever end?" compared to the 182.

In the showroom, or up on stands, the acreage of glistening white fiberglass is overwhelming.
Fear not, when she's out in the open water, with nothing but waves and blue sky all around, she gets much smaller very fast.

Gman your the Man

Congrats Gman from a New owner of a 2006 320 named "Ambiance" We love it, we had a 24 Sorrento and wanted more boat to Play on..

They can be a lil intimidating of you let them, but once you've hit the dock firmly, you won't worry about that again....he he he he

You will Love that boat, I believe it has outdrives on it Right, man I love my IO's they get that boat right up and out of the water, and I turns on a dime, if fact last year I made change on that dime and gave back a nickel....... Mine tops around 43,though I never do that, don't need to never have needed to, and she cruises at 27.7 mph.
Oh MY GOD, I'm making myself teary Eyed...Ok I miss her so much I can't talk anymore about her.....I'll talk later once I've recovered..

What, didn't you get the notice?...Lake Travis will be closed Feb 3rd for cleaning......just kidding....congrats & welcome to the pleasures of "big" boating.

Which marina will be home?.....the Hollows I hope so we can name drop & use your facilities.

We're at Lake Travis Marina, M-3, flamingos & palms on our transom.

Haha...good one on the Lake cleaning! Actually we will be keeping the boat in Lago Vista so no hollows for us either. But maybe together we can find someone at the hollows to be friends with!

G-Man. Welcome. I'm happy for you and your new boat.....Get out the polisher man that's a lot of plastic and chrome!
