Fiberglass Repair Cost

Is $125 an hour for professional fiberglass repair reasonable (this is in Long Island, NY)?

The dollar amount per hour is not really relevant. The total job cost is what matters. At $125/hour they may be very fast, but at $60 an hour you might get a real slow worker. So ask for a quote on the job. Any experienced fiberglass guy can give you this.

I bonged the side of my 270DA on a protruding RR spike someone had driven into a piling I was pulling up to. After reviewing my options, I took it to the local Sea Ray dealer for the fiberglass repair. They were a little more expensive, but I assumed (correctly) they could match the color better and they would stand behind the repair if necessary. That was 5 years ago and you still cannot tell where the repair was made.
