Engine hatch piston issue

The bracket that anchors the piston to the floor of the EC has pulled loose (overextending piston one too many times)

Any recommendations as to what/how to fill the screw holes with so I can re-tap and reinstall the bracket?

Any recommendations as to what/how to fill the screw holes with so I can re-tap and reinstall the bracket?

Drill the hole out oversize, fill with epoxy, let harden, drill pilot hole for your screw fastener.
