Electronics Upgrade Question- Seatalk1/2/ng

Rusty,
A couple of things -
Double check where the fuel tank is connected to the engine's "medusa" harness. I believe there two tank interfaces for each side. Make sure you are connected to Tank 1.
Do you see the fuel levels on the Diesel View? How about on the analogue gauges?
Are you getting gear pressure and temperature on the Starboard side?
I have an Actisense NGT-1. It is not used to analyze a network; it's a NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 converter.

Edit - NGT-1 is NMEA 2000 to PC interface; I was thinking NGW-1 which is NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter. Also, you will need the Actisense NMEA 2000 Reader software.

Tom, I have indications on the analog and smart craft display. I’m just not seeing Starboard tank as #2 tank on the MFD thru the NEMA/ STNG back bone. I found that when I told the MFD that I have 4 tanks on the boat then I actually get accurate reading on #3 tank. I don’t have a total fuel reading for some reason though. I’ll use the Actisense NGT-1-USB and the software to adjust the instances. I’ll post my results.

Interesting thread, am seeing a similar issue. I installed a Smartcraft gateway yesterday to SeatalkNG network and on Axiom 9 am seeing the same issue with missing fuel tank. Both tanks register on the Smartcraft gauges so the senders are working. Best, Giles

Try selecting 3 or 4 tanks in your Axiom boat set up screen, you may see #3 tank come on line reading accurately then configure the page Sans the tanks you are not using. If you want to program in correctly, after I do mine later today Ill post the experience and loan you the NGT1-USB to use if you like. It seems pretty straight forward but I'm not a computer expert by any means so I'm going into this with my eyes wide open.

Worked perfectly, thank you!
