Why would I would apologize to a guy that has flamed and insulted me and others in this post and others? And I totally get that there are others that are insulting you directly. That is not me. I try to keep my comments civil at all times. Apologizing for not filling in the blanks that were missing in your post in order to have you delete the name calling would legitimize childish name calling as a part of normal debate over issues. I would rather have the names stay there as a legacy to how you discuss issues.

I have not, and will not, use name calling as part of my discussions. And I have read the string of back and forth and I know you are not the instigator of this latest flurry of name calling. I will give you that. But you are inflaming it and dragged me into it.

And in the interest of taking down the temperature, I will take you at your word that you have never condoned violence. And I will apologize for misreading the intention of your first very short post on GFC's thread. He was making a very heartfelt comment about how he, as a life long Republican, felt about what was going on in DC, and there was a piling on that thread by others, including you, that was deflecting the issue (IMO) to comparing it to prior violence and rioting by Antifa and the fringe of BLM (which for the record I think was also despicable).
