I have a switch that doesnt do anything in the head, mounted into the wash basin cabinet, it says SHOWER, shower works with the Water System switch ON.

Nothing in the Owners Handbook

I have my ideas but want/need someone to tell me.

Thanks

I'm guessing it is to turn on the bilge pump that drains the shower water overboard, a float switch over-ride.
Out 270 is set that way.

Thanks guys thats what I thought.

I do have a brown wire near the shower bilge pump thats not connected.

I get my meter and check it out to confirm.

Brown wire might be for the float switch.

Actually there are two brown wires. I thought one should have a purple trace but cant see it. Just need to work out which is which with my meter.

Hello

I actually rewired mine this weekend. There are 2 brown wires. One is hot all the time. The other is connect to the switch in the head to manually activate the pump.

I had a simple testing light, With the switch off in the head. Brown to black and test good it is the continus power fow automatic. Brown to black test fail. It is the manual switch.

Thanks

Thomas

Every time I've had to change out a switch or pump I have tied a knot in the brown wire that is always hot so I will remember which is which next time I have to work on it.

My 300DA has the same switch, but it does NOTHING. I haven't gone thru the troubleshooting but will some day in my spare time.
