My first post here, I guess I have to chime in also.... with any luck, all the old SRO members will have found a home. At leas the landing was a soft one... :eek:
 
I am also over from SRO. I didnt do very much posting, but have learned so much from you all. When the board closed, I felt like I had lost friends, crazy as it might sound. I too hope the Frank's surface here. Its good to see some familiar faces.
 
Hello fellow SRO orphans. It's amazing that this site has been here for several years flying under the radar. I hope all the new activity doesn't cause our new host too much grief with his ISP or with Searay.

I've been all around reading the comments by others from SRO. I'm going to try to make this my number one Searay site. I thought about becoming more involved with boatered, I've lurked there for years. But that place is so dreary and sometimes Les is just...

Ahoy SROs....BON DIA finally here.....it was a lonely 3 days - call me dependent - SRO was my hourly fix when I was 100 miles from the lake.
Hope all the "experts" drift in soon. I've learn a tremendous amount from Jeremy's forum & wish I had a way to re-pay all. Hope $ was not a factor in his decision....P
 
Well, one more former SRO addict here. I hope we can settle on one board. It has been tuff searching all over for info that was handy before.
 
OK guys pick a site - :grin: Just tried to register for this site only to find the email we normally use is already registered - the Admiral can't seem to remember when or if she registered for the site - oh, well - finally got it done.
Holding on for one more decent boating weekend here on the east end of LI - cleaned up and waxed today and filled her up with gas - even got a new lure - now I just need the sun to poke thru for a bit - until then glad to find this site.
 
It would appear that most are coming here, I am a member on some other sites that have SR sections set up, but this one is the only one that is growing by leaps and bounds so it looks like most will be here. If you know how to contact anyone you do no see here let them know where we are.

Too bad about all the invaluable info sitting at SRO. I guess its time to roll up the shirt sleeves and get to work!!

370Dancer here. I actually got on this board the same day SRO shutdown. I've already seen a couple of suggestions coming to pass. Great admin. Now, if we could get the board data from SRO, and incorporate it here..........
 
Another SRO guy here, I found this site while bouncing around Boater Ed. This week was the first time I visited Boater Ed, good site but it just didn't have the feel SRO had and what this site looks like it is going to have. It just seems us SR people are a real tight group.
