He added that he had been taking a daily zinc supplement and received a single dose of azithromycin, an antibiotic meant to prevent infection.

When asked whether the White House physician had recommended he start taking the disputed remedy, Mr Trump said he himself had requested it.

Dr Sean Conley, physician to the president, said in a statement issued through the White House later on Monday that Mr Trump was in "very good health" and "symptom-free".

The US Navy officer added: "After numerous discussions he and I had regarding the evidence for and against the use of hydroxychloroquine, we concluded the potential benefit from treatment outweighed the relative risks."

TSA is highly ineffective at security, witnessed by the many stealth test done to see of the TSA actually can find anything. On many occasions agents have been able to smuggle bombs, guns and other items through undetected.

If you think a $15/hour half ass trained TSA agent guarantees your security, then you are the results the government are looking for.

Had the US government after 9/11 placed higher standards on airlines to provide their own security, it would have been more cost effective. But government (GWB administration) wanted to grow another agency. Today we spend $8 Billion/year funding them (taxpayers).

But hey, the low information types want security theater because, in their minds, only government can provide security. And what's so bad about giving up liberties in exchange for a little security, right?

Airline funded and managed security gave us 911

Yes, TSA has given us nothing. No hijacks, no terrorist attacks. It is working no?

Oh and having flown through US, European, Asian airports for decades before 911 I can tell you the security the US had provided by airlines was a joke. Only now does it come close to what has been in place in other countries for years.

1. I don't wear a mask because I know it's the perfect breeding ground for bacteria that can end up in your mouth and down into your lungs (hello upper respiratory infection anyone?!) Also, masks don’t protect us. Viruses are absolutely tiny, it’s like putting up a chain linked fence and expecting to keep mice out.
I will wear a mask pushed under my chin when I need to go to the store otherwise I wouldn't be allowed in the store. I also don’t want a $1k fine.

Nope. Personally I think a healthy debate is always a healthy debate. We are all better if we understand other people's perspectives when forming our own view. We might even change our view on something. All the easy "right and wrong" answers were solved long ago. Its only the tough problems where there are many alternative views. Civilized people and countries know that concept (open respectful debate) leads to better collective decisions when there is no perfect answer.

If you read the White House Doctors statement carefully it never says he prescribed it. The drug has not even been shown to be effective and has bad side effects. Most likely Trump is lying about taking it as he lies about most everything. What is more interesting is that he claims to also be taking a Z pack, an antibiotic. Anti biotics do not effect viruses but are prescribed to people who already have the virus to help control secondary infections in the lungs. Trump has been around alot of people who test positive and now its come out that the instant test that they use at the White House is 40 percent ineffective with false negatives. The real question is does Trump have the virus?

You are misinformed and are speculating regarding your skepticism whether Trump is taking it.
