The lifts on the doors for the cabinets on either side of the forward berth on my 07 320DA will no longer hold the doors up. Is there a way to recharge them so the doors will stay up when opened?

Rick, your best bet might be to remove one and bring it to auto zone, match it up closely, then go that route to replace all of them.

These are the (approximately) 10" long gas shocks? No, just replace them - VERY easy. They cost about $10 from your dealer. Be careful with the automotive stuff as they may not be made out the same materials and won't offer the same corrosion resistance. I can usually tell when automotive shocks have been used since the sockets and sometimes the rods will have rusted in a short time.

Dennis +1. Bring the old lift with you. They may look the same, but the pressurization could be very different. The numbers on the original will help, plus the ends may change over the years.
