We have our sights on a 370da or 400sedan bridge, and it looks like we will be keeping our 353 formula fastech! I have poured over every thread in here it feels like. So much knowledge. I just want to say hello and thanks for all the help!!! cdog

I find having two boat is like having two girl friends... You friends think your cool, but is hard to spend enough time with each girl...

I wouldn't mind two girlfriends, unfortunately departing with the formula would be like a bad divorce. Other than the payments, the carrying costs are minimal, storage is free, do my own maintence, ect. I am not against selling her, but I am against giving her away, she is a beauty. If anyone is looking for a mint 353 pass them on to me! cdog

IMO I would not sell the 353 if I were you! or if anything else maybe just downsize the go-fast. since I've sold my Pachanga I've been miserable. the big boats are not "driver" boats. if you enjoy the thrill, the handling, and going fast, you enjoy driving and you will miss that element of boating terribly the minute it's no longer an option. for me selling the Pachanga and being stuck with the sundancer feels as if somebody stole my musclecar and now I'm stuck with the family minivan!

I love my Sundancer and it's great for the family but its boring to drive. I told my wife it's like driving a boot. Big, comfy and safe but boring as a math test.

I'm currently trying to convince her we need a Donzi Classic 18.

I support the idea of having a boat that gets your blood flowing. Obviously by your choice of boat you appreciate quality and a bit of thrill. I'm sure you will enjoy a big old Sundancer but I'm guessing that in a year or two's time the burden of two big boats will outweigh the benefit.

Congrats, and welcome!

First of all, welcome to CSR! I'm partial to the 370 DA myself, feel free to PM me if you have questions during the search.

Magstag...I feed the need on my Sea Doo GTX. It goes fast, is fun to mess around on and is a great way to cool off on a hot day!

The addition of a hard bottom inflatable with a 15hp outboard may have been my gateway drug this year. It's like a go kart on the water, but all it does is make me want more.

I've nicknamed my son Ricky Bobby. He always says "Dad, I wanna go fast." I've even taught him to tell mom we need a fast boat when ever we get back from a ride. He will be 3 next month.

I'm completely addicted. Boating will eventually be the cause of my financial ruin...

We're still a three boat family......fast is fun! It's funny the CV-16super goes just a bit faster (42mph) than the 270DA at WOT (38mph). The CV-23 will run 55mph with it's 5.7L and is the fuel mileage champ at 2900rpms.....almost 4.5mpg. At 4200rpms the 270DA does run and handle like a sport boat but gets less than 1mpg, Mike.

That is awesome! I love that movie. If you're not first you're last.
