FYI my exp Direct Tv Sucks...so does Dish... So does Time Warner Cable...
 
+1 on Roll Tide! I hated Directv. I've had good luck with Dish. Mediacom is the cable around here, and they suck.

Sorry Jason but I have to disagree with you here. Directv has been awsome for me and their customer service is second to none. I don't know what your problem with them was but, it certainly doesn't represent my dealings with this company, and no I do not work for them!!

As for the original post here, I have no idea what that is about!!

Oh yeah, and LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! Nothing like NY playoff Hockey baby!!!!!!!!!
 
well thanks i work for them but really this was just a joke thread not about service comparison. If you haven't see the real commercial and havent' followed current events it wont make sense.

My problem with Direct is they don't stand behind their product. I have a home Dvr that will record sections of shows but not the entire show. When I call the send out a tech to replace the reciever...a week later. Second box will record the shows but will freeze and skip sound several times in an hour long show. They don't seem to care because it is my problem. They did offer to give me a $10 credit to my bill every month but they only did it for two months... I'm waiting for my contract to end and I'll go on to something else (not sure what's left) dish was the same type of senario wanting $700 to replace a box that was hit by lightning. Time Warner charged me any way for 3 weeks of internet service that didn't work... and they knew the problem was an outside junction a block away. Ok done with the rant...
 
Direct works for me. We have an in motion dish on the boat. Living on the hook for about 100 straight days each year in a pretty remote area, it is our only means of knowing what is happening in the world.
We travel at hull speeds most of the time and have a tv on the bridge. It helps on those 10 hour open water runs.
