Directions To Power Squadron??

Hi all, newbie here! This will be our first Aquapalooza and we have yet to find the power squadron. We put the boat in at Allison Creek..not sure where to go from there? I know we have to go out to the main channel, past Ebenezer park towards Buster Boyd Bridge and up towards the plant, but from there we haven't been able to find it. We went out looking today, we aren't quite sure what we are looking for..anyone know the way? please?

Proceed north from Allison Creek. Shortly after you pass Commodore Yacht Club on your port, you will come up to a slight bend in the channel and see a mini-Hatteras lighthouse on the Starboard. Just port of center you will see 3 hazard buoys and a research buoy. While avoiding the hazard, go the the far port side of the channel after passing the buoys and enter the first cove. Directly after entering this cove, veer to port and you will see a small hut and some docks with a spotlight mounted on it. This is the PS. It cannot be seen from the main channel and is just north of the Nuclear plant. See you there! :thumbsup:

Yes, it is easy to miss. Took me a while to find it the first time too. I guess for something like that you expect a big sign identifying it. If they do have a sign, it is small.

If you pre-registered, don't forget to sign in at Lake Wylie Marina to pick up the tee-shirts in the morning.
