To have democracy voting must be real.

If after you vote the people behind the scenes change the results you do not have democracy.

I no longer live in a democracy.

Boy are not kidding. An election full of fraud is not an election.
 
You've got some pretty weak voter registration procedures up there. Need to fix that system, its ripe for abuse.
 
I'm going to paraphase Stalin: Power does not come from the ballot box, but from those that count the ballots.
 
I have not seen any fraud reported, have you? Just a mistake, should their votes not count? Even the Dem watcher said it was legit.

It’s so very interesting that this “mistake” just happen to occur in the one town and the one ward where unlike the rest of the state where voting was close to 50/50, 49/51, 51/49, an rare 58/42 or 42/58, had voting that was 80%/20%, and the additional votes resulted in a voter turnout that was above the other local wards and the rest of the state, and way above any other previous non-presidential turnout.

If the "mistake" went the other way and it caused my preferred person to get in I would feel they got in unjustly.

Wisconsin sustains the teachers union by the Dem party, is judged by the Dem party judges, legislated by the Dem party, and entitle by the Dem party. How can anyone expect any difference in the out come? I moved out of the communist state for this reason. They keep putting garbage in and they keep getting garbage out.

Breaking news update:

Turns out the person who made the ……“mistake” (or use the word fraud if you wish) use to work for Prosser, the person running for election. She should not even have been allowed to have this position in the voting ward.

“Nickolaus previously worked for a GOP caucus that was under the control of Justice David Prosser, who was speaker of the Assembly at the time and who now stands to benefit from the Waukesha clerk's error.”

So we are to believe that this data analyst and computer specialist who was given criminal immunity for a previous crime by the Republican Party under David Prosser, the person running for election, could not put a tape into a computer and press “save” when all over the state little old ladies were able to do this correctly?

Frank, I believe we have voter fraud by this one person and it has the potential of changing who gets elected, although the new votes are being called into question. I don’t know how they can possibly proceed with these election results now.

You feel that is sour grapes?

Sour grapes would be my person looses in a fare election and I do not accept it.

If you had voter fraud in your area that changed the election results would you be “oh well” about it?

OK here is the latest. I expect this to hit the news within the hour. I am using quotes "..." where I am copying word for word what I am being given.


Kathy Nickolaus, the Waukesha County Clerk whose votes are being called into question was using her personal computer, not the county’s computer network as is the standard procedure.

"Nickolaus said she decided to take the election data collection and storage system off the county’s computer network – and keep it on stand-alone personal computers accessible only in her office – for security reasons. “What it gave me was good security of the elections from start to finish, without the ability of someone unauthorized to be involved,” she said.



"Director of Administration Norman A. Cummings said because Nickolaus has kept them out of the loop, the county’s information technology specialists have not been able to verify Nickolaus’ claim that the system is secure from failure."

I don't know, maybe it is just the way I read the newspapers but it seems that it is only voter fraud when a Democrat loses a close election. Witness what happened in Minn. with the comedian. They are still finding votes for Al Franken from people long dead. Maybe you are right...who knows.
 
….to show I am doing my best to be fair, now it’s being reported that up to 10,000 votes in Dane County (Madison WI) may be fake in the other direction.

It still goes to support my original statement that my vote no longer matters. Our local system is not working.

In my opinion they need to hold a brand new election and they need to have a secure method to measure the votes. Clearly we don’t have that now.

If you want to vote again you just get back in line. They have a book with names at each voting place. The book is sitting there in front of you open. All you do is pick a name that is not crossed out yet. If your name is already crossed out you just pick another name.

Pres, I'm with you on clean elections. Our voting system is outdated, insecure, and not capable of instilling confidence in super close contentious elections. We as a society also need to ratchet it down. The weakness in the system is human error and deceit, it doesn't have a margin of error in the hundreds of votes. Sadly our major retailers can't secure our credit card data. Not a good precedent. MM
