Dealer Meeting / In Water Boat Show

Out running today...this lake is pretty cool. Plenty of hospitality all along the many miles of shore line. And you will like our display and customer event to boot.

See ya Saturday!

Looking forward to it Rusty. They did tell you to watch out for the hill tops and trees still in the lake didn't they(Grin)
Chuck

Looking forward Chuck....I will be driving the 540 Sundancer for the weekend so look for that beauty and you will find me.

Hope all can come to Lake Lanier this Satuday for our gathering of product and friends. If you do, please come see me!

Weather will be perfect!

Capt. Rusty

It is...

So, I am in baggage claim for the next 4 hours waiting on a bag. The hotel is 50 miles form the airport, so it doesn't make much sense to drive 50 miles to the hotel, check-in, drive 50 miles back to the airport, and then drive 50 miles back to the hotel.

The good news is that they have restaurants in their baggage claim area so I can watch some TV and play on the Internet, just like home.

Well, my stuff finally arrived and I got over to the hotel. Got up this morning and ran out to the Lake Lanier resort.

As soon as I walked up, I ran into Matt Guilford from Sea Ray and Carter from CSR:

Carter and I walked out on the docks where Sea Ray had a bunch-'o-boats on display (probably 20 or so).

We got out to the end of the dock and there was a familiar looking guy on a 540DA

One of the other CSR guys (passtime207) was there with his wife and son.

Moderator Chuck (chuck1) also came for the party:

And, sage and guru Captain Frank Webster was in attendance:

We had a chance to meet some of the Sea Ray folks in attendance, toured the boats, pontificated for some time on how to solve the world's problems, and generally made a nuisance of ourselves.

And then, before you knew it, 3:00 rolled around and it was time to call it a day.

Captain Rusty shoved off the 540 and headed out.

The folks from Marine Max were holding a function tonight to get a sneak peek at a couple of the new models, but, yours truly didn't get an invite, so no photos from the MM party.

It was a nice event. And, it seems that we are going to get a 2014 Homecoming next year with plenty of advance notice.

I am on a plane in the morning and will be boating in the Chesapeake by lunchtime.

Thanks for the write up and pics Rick. Looking forward to the next homecoming event.

Thanks for the pictures Rick. its always nice seeing new boats, you sharing these will let us enjoy/ remember them a little longer. This one is me. Not sure I met the member with his wife & son.

As expected it was great seeing you guys again. Thanks to those who helped set it up. 2014 here we come!

hmm, thought I could paste that pic in there. Oh we'll.

What a lineup! I'm intimidated by the looks of those vessels, they appear to be oozing a mix of styling, class, and MONEY.
