Nice job CC and thanks for the post and pics.
Plan on re-bedding my windshield one of these days.
The amberjacks dont have a center windshield support and the front frames are a bit wobly.

Thanks here too.I think what happens is the water pools in the screw channel, then once the substrate gets wet it wicks in pretty quickly into mu port cabinet above thr side windows in the dinette. Not bad from rain but if running in 5-7 ft waves it gets wet enough to drip out and get the dinette cushions wet on the wall end.

Your very welcome. Glad I could help. I got info from Club Sea Ray to do mine. This site is the best.

The pre paint dash stood out. The post spray paint dash doesnt stand out, if you know what I mean. Its neither ugly nor "wholy shi% that dash looks good" and it only cost me about 20 bucks

CC, did you have to replace the screw cover-strip when you put your windshield back or did it just come out neatly. One of mine was brittle and went to pieces.

I was able to reuse everything. The strip on mine was rubbery. Based on the cut off screw I found I am assuming the windshield had been replaced, so I'm thinking the strip was also. I can't remember where, but I have seen those replacement strips on line. In addition to fit and finish I think that strip really deflects a lot of water so I would certainly find a way to replace them.
