Anyone have a trick for getting canvas snapped into place without making your fingers raw? There must be a tool for doing this. Thanks.

Chapstick....most women have it in their purse. Save your money.
I also keep a tube of chapstick handy for this purpose.

Besides the tool which should be carried on board is to use a plain old candle stick. Leaves no stains and is easy to keep in your tool bag. Rub the candle on the snap male and female ends. Should need to do this once a year/season... make it part of your winterizing/dewinterizing...
