Dad Shoots Laptop

+1 for the Dad. :smt038

-0 for the Daughter.

More parents should do that.

I am not a parent but I am glad that someone is sticking it to these non deseving pukes that will become society... You go dad... let this be a lesson for the snot nosed kids out there that want something for nothing.....

Hmmm, I wonder if I posted a video of me disabling my kids user accounts on their laptops, blocking access to the internet for the laptops MAC address, and and putting their laptops in the trunk of my car and bringing them to work where they stayed until I determined it was OK for them to have their laptops back... would get as many hits. I think it was staged.

I just saw it also on facebook! Waste of good ammo.....I would have drowned it and left it in the tub for her to find. A good reminder every shower! 15 year olds don't need laptops IMHO. Disrespect is a learned behavior so it all starts at home. Step Mom was mentioned so I'm sure she has seen some nasty stuff but that's just my take. I see some pretty messed up kids everyday at school and the home life usually comes into play. Parents raise children so it's usually a mirror image of both or either parent. I think before I speak when angry and try not to disrespect anyone at that point. I remember as a child seeing other parents destroy stuff to get their childs attention....made me think they were idiots! When I screwed up as a kid, I lost privilages, got paddled and got the spoken reasoning behind it. My parents were good to me and I did not want to disappoint them....they worked hard for what we had which was alot. There are consequences for all actions good and bad, Mike.

I for one think it was real. That guy was pissed, wanted to make a splash & he did. He posted it on HER facebook page so all her friends would check it out. Sad the he lost money on the machine itself. But Ill bet he got his money's worth. Not much compares to rapid firing a .45 at a close range target.

Ill bet the daughter is pretty clear on how things are gonna be from here on out. She now has the perfect opportunity to turn her sorry ass ways around & begin living right. To those that say she will rebel & continue to be an ass. Too bad. I'm sure she has had more chances than most of us ever got. Make sure she understands that she has this distinct point in time to change if she so desires. Otherwise, we chalk her up as a future occupier & start looking for that next boat. College money goes a long way on yachtworld.com.

When we were kids, my older brother snuck my dads car out for a joy ride one winter night, and got it stuck in a snowed in cul-de-sac. When my dad found this out, he grabbed the snow shovel and took all us kids to the car. My sister and I got in the back seat while my dad warmed up the car, as my brother shoveled the snow away. When my brother was done shoveling, my dad put the car in neutral, revved the engine a few times, then yelled out to my brother "No, still stuck". My brother shoveled out the entire cul-de-sac.

Crose.. that's a great story... I'm sure he didn't do it again, did he... I was raised by my grandparents from 3mos of age. I am thankful everyday that I had their leadership... Believe it or not but I was never spanked as a child. I was raised to be respectful to adults and listen to them. If I did something I wasn't supposed to my dad only had to speak to me and I was fearful and respectful. He always did a great job of explaining what I did wrong, and why. There were a few times that he stood back and watched as I didn't something I shouldn't and after getting Knocked on my a$$ he'd say "learned didn't ya" that has always stuck with me... now as an adult when I do something that doesn't quite work out I don't get ticked and throw a fit... I just hear his voice saying "learned didn't ya" I still say the dad gave a great example...

No Pyro, he certainly didn't try it again, and the funny thing, after witnessing my brothers shoveling. My sister and I never tried it either.

Lets see, with my daughter on her 3rd phone in less than 2 years, I refused to buy another one, she had to come up with the money. 3 weeks later she bought her replacement at 2 $230. That one has lasted 2 years.

Coming home late her and my son, at 3:00 in the morning, I got up at 7am, went and got the biggest pot lid and the heavy duty wooden spoon, 3 feet over their heads one at a time, played the symbols. This went on for a 1/2 hour.

One weekend spending on the boat, I checked the surveillance video remotely on the dvr, found my daughter had friends over the house until sun rise. The next night I came home at midnight and walked into a mess. I was introduced to a new boy friend at that time and politely stated I would take my katana and slice something off then call the cops for a trespasser.

Gave me crap on texting, shut it off on her phone until I got 4 months fees for texting.

Cut off the internet to MAC addresses, only my 2 computers and they are secured.

And the list keeps going on!

The noise treatment is probably not a good idea as it could cause permanent hearing damage and lead to tinitus.
I have tinitus from running chain saws, etc., etc. - and, it is not a fun issue to have.
Just sayin'
