CSR Rendezvous 2009 – Atlantic City NJ

Alex....just thought you were working on commission with "Trump Marina" and wanted to get a "little bit more" from us.

For what we pay them per night I wish I had some financial share there . I'll make the correction, thx.

Put the Southern Cross down for shrimp, antipast and some sweets. Dom - no need to worry about the antipast - the Admiral is full blooded Italian.
Buon appetito

I'm more worried that she asks you for suggestions....we might end up with yellow cheese and mini franks in the ...antipasto....never forget the ending vowel.....

Sorry, Ive been away for a bit. I normally get on here when I have spare time at work, sitting near Dallas TX now. But for some time I had to move out of my house and pack half of it to NJ and the rest to WI. (Long Story) Once done I needed to run like hell to make up for the down time. Now I'm back in a regular groove and relaxing (Considering 9 days of moving everything...alone. Work is relaxing, and not as depressing.
In a few days I am canceling my reservation for my slip. I need to know if anybody wants it before I give it up to just anybody. The LOA is 25 and beam is 7"11.
As for the trip I should be ariving there Saturday late AM by Truck...Actaully concedering taking the Pete but parking could be an issue, If so then the Crew Cab Ford will do.
With that I'll need a place to sit and hang out. Guess I'll bring a cooler full of beer and ice and sit on that.:thumbsup:

My crew has decided that fireworks don't compensate for a nice dinner and the night show, so I'll have to cross Boat A Bing form the list of boats for the night cruise on 4th.

I just checked the 10 day forcast for Atlantic City. Thursday looks great, Friday looks dicey, but Sat looks perfect!

While I'm with Gary on the accuracy of weathermen, It still is nice to look foward to since its not tomorrow.

Now if we all did our jobs like weathermen, Nothing would be done right and we would still expect to be paid...well.

I believe that weathermen always get yesterday's prediction correct....but not until today....

Hello people
I just called Farley for slip assignments and for table arrangements. They told me to call next week (I keep getting that) and they will put me in touch with guest services - I was assured this would not be a problem at all. Dom, I hate to say it but they want to put Four Suns, Southern Cross or Glory Daze on the T dock. They will then set things up with our group out on the end nearest the T first. The T is 76' so that leaves around 24' for another boat. If you want to negotiate with them maybe they can put Dominic + someone else w/LOA < 30' out there and keep the big fellas over at F dock. I'll leave that you you'all to figure out. But this is Gary's chance to be with the little people, which might be good for him.

I'm fine with letting one of the big guys over on the 'H' dock.......I would suggest we don't put anyone else out on the 'T' and that we just leave it open to tie up some dinghies.....

Let the big guys decide who comes over to see how the little people live....

I like that idea... I was wondering where to keep the dinghy.

My preference is "F" dock which I normally take. I have a little dog that will be yapping the whole night if I am in the center of the activity.

Deep fried, a little muster sauce and sliced thinly.....what desert are you bringing??.....

(ps....my little runt would be competing to see who can bark the most anoyingly....but we're leaving her home for this trip)

I was planning on bringing the slushie machine. I was thinking of leaving it setup in the cockpit but looking at the dock map, it's a pretty good walk from the H T-head over to F-dock, maybe I'll leave it home.
I guess I could bring a wagon and roll it over to the tables. How wide are the docks there? Think they would mind this setup on the docks?

I'm sure the T is bigger, but this picture should give you some idea of room:

After careful consideration (and feedback from my wife) I decided that I am going to leave my marina up in Monmouth Beach and head down to the Toms River area next Thursday. That will split the trip in 1/2 and puts me close to the meeting point on Friday morning; I would like to find a transient marina that is located within walking distance to a restaurant. I am considering Lighthouse Point, but that does take me a little bit out of the way.

I called and they can accommodate me (and others) $1.50 per foot per night

Any suggestions for other marinas?

Greg/Lady Taz & Mike/Turtle Butt, I'm not sure what your plans are or if you wanted to meet somewhere up around Sandy Hook.

Turtle Butt!!!! Did Vin just call Mike Turtle Butt? I see a dinghy race in your future.....

Ron should be able to give you some advise on LHP marina. If we can work out the logistics, you can use my Isuzu to get around.
