Okay Folks... It's that time of year again... We had such a great time last year with a boat count of 17 for a first year I thought it was great!

For those interested in what happened last year here's the link...
http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/48529-CSR-Lake-Erie-Islands-2012-Rendezvous

Plus a little video remembrance!

Alright now the important stuff... When, Where, and Who!

When,
July 26th through the 28th

Where,
I am working with Middle Bass Island Again this year to try and reserve C dock for us. I have already contacted the park and they have assured me that we will be able to make our own reservations. I will keep you posted on when you should make your reservations for the event. If it so turns out that they will not be able to accommodate us then I am open for suggestions. Remember that we have a whole group of different size vessels. With boat lengths from 50' down this makes finding a marina that can fit all of us a challenge...

Who,
Anyone that is part of CSR or that just loves to be on the water in general...

***Side Note***
~ So at the boat show we were throwing around the idea of a pot luck picnic instead of crowding at Walleyes. I am game for that and I would like anyone's input on the idea. The down side is we will not be able to drink (except for opaque containers:grin:) while in the new picnic area.

~ Of course we will also have a goody bag for those attending. Anyone that would like to help or contribute to that please send me a PM...

Alright guys and gals... I've got the ball rolling let me know who is interested and what you guys think with ideas!:smt100

:smt038Deanna and I will be there, likely in the 270. please be sure to tell us how we can help, and what we can bring!

I can't guarantee attendance at this point, but I put it on our calendar and we would really like to try and make it. I'll follow this post to keep up on the details. Thanks for organizing this again!

We Would love to have you!!!

Grrrrr well got a "save the date" card yesterday for cousin's wedding which is the same day. :smt013 so I think we're now officially out on the rendezvous now.
totally frustrated, it would be so easy to miss if it weren't a cousin we actually liked. Why is it family always decides to have weddings the same day as CSR events. First I missed out on the homecoming, now this!!!:smt021

Tell your cousin to have the wedding on the island.

Tell your cousin to have the wedding on the island.

 I like the idea...unfortunately that's the "country boy" side of the family. I think their dream wedding would be in a barn in the middle of no where.

trust me it was a lengthy conversation with the Admiral. niether one of us is happy about it. feels like we loose no matter which way we choose:smt009
I think next year I really am going to send out that form letter explaining to all our non-boating friends and family that we will not be available all summer and to just assume our RSVP to be "not attending"

OOOH Man... bumber Greg, We'll still get together several times I am sure!!!

Absolutely! We just need to find a way to make it twice a summer to have redezvous..... Gee that's not selfish huh haha:grin:

I would love to go, but it's going to be questionable for me. My wife is due the first week of August.

If I can talk her into it, we will be there.
