CSR Addiction

I thought I was addicted but now Gary has more posts than me and Todd is slowly closing in as well. :smt021

But that's easy, just stay in the "Who's Who" section and say "Welcome and be sure to update your sig line" to every new member and you'll hit 6000 in no time:lol:

We do try to be friendly around here:thumbsup:

As to being addicted - No problem I can quit anytime I want, ye that's it.:smt043

Yes....too much time in front of the computer looking at Club Sea Ray...need to step away from the computer....wife yelling at me now...

Fan-freakin-tastic. Now that's a jump in size:thumbsup: Congrats

and thanks! the more I looked, the more I knew I didn't want to do this again in a couple of years... This boat happen to be up on Grand ( a couple of hours from here) and just fit the bill. Priced at least $25K less than any other I had seen and got another 6500 plus transport down here... what could I do!?

Surveyed well and then to beat all... after I got her slipped, the new marina mechanic was doing some eletrical work on my slip and got this funny look on his face.. come to find out he had done all the work on 'Tejas' the last several years! small world...

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm addicted... they say you have to first admit the addiction before you can cure it, but I'm not looking for a cure yet (well, it'd be nice, if it was 70+ out and sunny)

Currently it's snowing hard outside, we've got over an inch so far, and they expect 2-4" total here (6-12" in the adirondack mtns, 4-8" in the Green Mtns). I don't know why I'd rather look at those pics of the Bahamas and BVI?!

Is that what's addicting, or is it the banter of others talking about something I really enjoy doing? (boating that is)

I'm not as interested in the forums, certainly not addicted, as I once was. Seems to me we have too little substantive talk about boating and way too much angry talk about politics + personal attacks. For example, Nehalennia had a great topic recently asking folks to share two tips/tricks. The topic received 37 posts (many of which had nothing to do with the topic). Contrast that with the hundreds of posts on recent holding tank topics (and yes, I know, I've participated too). Only 20-something tips/tricks from a board with so many enthusiastic Sea Ray owners?

It only took 40 posts to get someone on the "too much banter" band wagon. If I need boating advice, I go to a boating forum like well CSR... if I want banter, I go to a boating forum like CSR! This place to me is much like hanging around the dock and as I see it, it is both a fantastic resource when that is what I need as well as a great diversion if that is what I am looking for at the time. And I gotta tell ya, 186 days of not boating and I'm sure to spend the first four months in the holding tank:grin:
