Seems my seawater pump for my 12,000 BTU cruisair split ac system (condenser and pump in the bilge) has crapped out (electrical short between neg and pos)
all the numbers are worn off the pump (which I think is orgininal) and trying to find a replacement, but don't have any manuals or other documentation

System is in a 1983 SS310 Sundancer...would appreciate hearing from anyone who has found a replacement or might have a manual for this system

Thanks

Thank you both for taking the time to reply
I've been out of circulation (no pun intended) but will follow up shortly. It hit 108 here the other day and the cool air on the Mississippi just didn't cut it

Not sure, but it may very well be a "March" brand pump. I replaced the original on my old 87 300 Sundancer and although the original was a different color and had a "Cruiseair" label on it, it was a March pump and I was able to purchase a direct replacement online.

My 89 300 DA had a Cal marine pump which I replaced twice before converting to a March pump, they are much better than the Cal marine units. The Cal pumps are oil filled and get very hot when running, I think they burn themselves out. March pumps are water cooled and run much cooler, just don't forget to winterize the AC pump in the fall.
