Credit card fraud

I was Amex for years and years and never had a problem. I’m replacing my Visa Ink card and I got an Amex Delta Reserve card. I’ll try it for a year and see how it goes

I always used Amex for company cards. Only time I ever had an issue was when the travel agency I used at a law firm kept faxing copies of the card we had designated for hotels to the hotels. One day I got a call from Amex fraud asking me if I had just purchased $8,000 worth of alcohol in upstate New York. I had not.

Well somebody in upstate New York had a hell of a party on Amex. Didn't do me much good in St. Louis.

Now that's "Funny as Shit" I almost called him a slacker when he said it wasn't his charge. Ya know, leading us on and all.

No slacker here. But I will admit I have never bought $8k of alcohol at one time. I have spent $1K for a Super Bowl party at my house.

I usually buy a couple of thousand dollars worth when I go to Arizona. Our liquor tax is ridiculous in Washington State.
I can buy liquor for almost 50% less in Arizona than in my home state.
We're headed down next week for a month or so, and will be stocking up again.
One year I had so much, Costco made me sign a paper saying I wasn't reselling it.
