Connecticut proposes increased marine taxes

New York already taxes winter storage and repair labor...at the incredible bargain sales tax rate of 8.625%!!! Putting sales tax on brokers commissions and removing the tax benefit of a trade in could be much bigger revenue streams....

Didn't they learn from the LUXURY TAX years ago!!!!

How soon they forget! :smt021

They do these calculations and never take into account that the consumer may discontinue use or purchasing due to tax increase. :smt024

Ronald Reagan please come back and save us!

They just want to tax you right out of the state-country. Why are they hurting for money?
Because nobody has any money to spend. Why don't people have money to spend. Because they don't produce anything here to offset the Trade difficit. Most of the money we all spend, goes overseas.
Buy fuel for home heat or cars, over seas, buy parts for you boat, car, house, or industerial items.......made in china. I just can't figure our why nobody has any money.

Hmmm. RI is looking pretty nice right about now. Then off to FL.

RI is a tax free boaters paradise. the greatest thing about boats is that they can be moved. CT will soon realize this.
